Undergrads show how it's done

A team of undergraduate students under the tutelage of CDR PhD candidate Wendy Ju has culminated a very productive summer with the presentation of their project, the Map News Table, an interactive international news reader that makes use of several technologies to present a live view of the news as it is presented around the world. Lora Oehlberg, Corina Yen, Joanna Gubman, and Monica Miller presented their work to the assembled DesignX grad students and faculty, conducted user studies, and left us in awe. Congragulations! For a peek at the project, see their project homepage at http://ix.stanford.edu/.
