Several speakers refered to "Wireless Internet" as synonomous with 3G.
The same speakers promised the audience
how great it was going to be
to use the Wireless Internet
when 3G was ready
.
The symposium had an 802.11b NAP and free cards for those of the audience with laptops.
A large part of the audience was typing away
using
the existing Wireless Internet ignoring the promises onstage.
