This part showed the feasibility of several manufacturing issues, including the embedding of multiple components into one part (high complexity), the embedding of a flexible component and the feasibility of creating embedded pneumatic systems.
Future work will focus on investigating the use of different materials that have different properties (high flexibility, for example) and exploring other techniques for embedding different kinds of systems.
