Don Brown from Utah visited Palo Alto and
met with Mark Cutkosky, George Toye, Glenn Kramer, and Marty
Tenenbaum. Phone connections with Hughes and TI followed.

Mark Cutkosky met with Dan Kuokka at Lockheed who
subsequently attended a CDR SHARE meeting and would
consider making Optimal available as Madefast service.

Not a meeting but worth noting that Pradeep states
the design objectives of Madefast in a
message to Pete Brown.

Mark Cutkosky visits Utah. Returns with plans to
do a satellite video conference and a preliminary 2-D gimbal design
sketch that is put in the Madefast web. The motivation for the video
conference is that web pages and email from unknown people at Stanford
seems confusing until a personality is attached to the electronic
messages.

Mark Cutkosky and Charles Petrie meet with
Bob Seliger from Hughes to discuss Madefast involvement.

Satellite Video Conference between Utak and Stanford

Bob Seliger had a conference call with Larry Leifer
and Charles Petrie wrt Madefast and a visit by
Ray Webb of Hughes, Tuson to DC the following week.

Bill Chan of CMU and Charles Petrie of Stanford perform a
non-video test of mbone unicast. Bill Chan was able to
capture a fragment of a Mosaic GIF, convert it to PostScript, and add
it to the shared whiteboard where both could annotate it.

Mark Cutkosky of Stanford and Mike Terk of CMU
attempt to use mbone for a design session. They discover that the 30K
limit on PostScript files is too limiting for real design discussion.

- 11 Aug 94 Sam Drake and Carolyn Valiquette visited CDR,
Stanford and EIT on Aug 11, 1994. Earlier in the morning a design
meeting was held at CDR. In the afternoon discussions on
presentation scenario at the ISAT meeting took place. Audio

At the
ARPA MADE Program Workshop in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Thursday,
November 10th, the seeker was publicly demonstrated to work.
- 16 Feb 95
A
design meeting was held in Utah to discuss the design
of the "beta", or "desktop" version of the seeker that
is to be construct for display by ARPA.
