Conclusions

• Service-based process instances can be generated
      on demand with AI planning technologies.
• In general, planning is necessary for services:
      we give an example that requires it.
• Planning services has a fundamental problem:
      the "black box" nature of services.
• This can be overcome with Defeasible Planning and annotations about defaults.
• Selectable effects and limits of scaling are future work.

Planning service-based instances is feasible and advantageous in at least cases where the process goal can be stated, agility is required, and default kowledge about services can be declared.
