Germany tour June-July 2005

16-21 June: After visiting VW in Wolfsburg, and popping into Berlin to buy new mountain and motocycle boots at Globetrotter Ausrüstung, I take the train to Enschede to get the bike from Rik, take the AutoZug to Munich, then ride to Stuttgart (and get a great steam train musuem visit/ride) and Ulm.
17-24 June: In which I ride to Innsbruck, have one great 650Km riding day, and then rain.
25 June: I ride back to Munich and let the bike rest in a great place while I go to Berlin.
26 June - 3 July : Jeremy and I tour Berlin.
3-4 July : Jeremy and I meet Wolfi and Linda in München.
4-9 July : Jeremy and I go to and tour Berchtesgaden in bad weather. Jeremy goes back to Paris. I leave Berchtesgaden and ride to Italy and back.
10-14 July I learn to ride a motorcycle in Italy.:
14-15 July : I ride the AutoZug and Autobahn back to Enschede and Rik.
16-18 July : From Enschede, Nethterlands, ride the train along the the Rhine, past the castles and the Lorilei, to Darmstadt. Visit with the family Verst in Darmstadt, including a birthday party for a friend on the 17th. The 18th was fly home day.
