This is an objective criterion and excludes things like print servers. But does it exclude Napster?
Need also the criterion that agents send messages that are not in direct response to explicit requests.
Note - this excludes also publish/subscribe. But not auctions.
SOAP uses query/reply HTTP-like protocol. JXTA is agnostic? What does this added criterion/functionality buy one?
