Objections and Conclusion

• I have no vision:
  maybe - but where is the path that leads to commercial use of agent visions?
• It is too early:
  maybe it is too late.
• These people are not university-trained:
  exactly my point - academic agents are not on the technical path of the people doing the XML startups
• I have too restrictive a definition of agents:
  if you only mean by "agent" what you want to mean then we are in Wonderland
• There is good agent technology in this community:
  yes, but do you see it in the commercial marketplace?

The point is that the multi-agent "vision" is not going to just happen by itself. The academic agent community needs to do something this year or eCommerce will continue its pragmatic way without agents.
