are CIT Services provided hosted out on the Internet rather than in-house. The host owner is the service provider and the customer is the consumer.

    Software as a Service (SaaS) is one such service. Examples are
  • CRM
  • Sales
  • Project Management
 These are typically large complex applications with large sets of data where state is maintained over a long period of time.
