Better Than It Used To Be
In 2003, the (broken) UDDI
had elements named Body.
Things are better because the description is getting better, for
both search and the WSDL.
SEEKDA! is really a great service search engine: almost practical!
It certainly helps a programmer, if not a program.
Semantics for search includes
- Country
- Tags
- Provider
- Age
This is better than UDDI but still not full semantics: I still
cannot find a service that I know will reserve a hotel
because this is still a keyword search.
And since there are no common semantics for the WSDL elements,
all implemented services are internal: Impractical.
We need to get back to the idea of service descriptions.
