I want to develop a system that makes it easier to design robots.
I believe it is possible to develop a CAD environment which will enable us to build new robotic devices in less time, for less money, and with greater flexibility, performance, and reliability.
My research project is part of a NSF-sponsored project involving researchers at Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, and Berkeley.

I spent 6 1/2 years working at the MIT Mobile Robotics Lab, studying small walking robots. I built Boadicea, a six-legged, pneumatic walking robot for my Master's Thesis at MIT.
I have worked as a plastic and injection molding consultant for startup companies in the MIT area.
I am an avid glassblower, sailor, and snowboarder.
