Welcome to the home page for the 1997 Workshop on Human and Machine Haptics, sponsored by the Office of Naval Research Perceptual Systems Division. The Workshop took place December 7-9, 1997 at the Asilomar Conference Center, on the Monterey Peninsula in Pacific Grove, California.
