Heuristic "Find Function"
DEDAL uses a set of heuristics that reason from the
device model to guess at where the answers may be documented if
the retrieval fails. The heuristics are applied automatically in case
there is no exact index match to a query or if more answers are desired for a
particular query.
"Find Function" heuristic:
- If query is about topic function and about object O
and if O is a part of object P
then find a document relating to
the operation of
P.
In this particular case:
- The query is about function of Control Subsystem
and Control Subystem is part of Bioreactor System
therefore find a document relating to
the operation of
Bioreactor System.
