ABSTRACT

  DesignSpace, a design media interpretation for a future
generation, facilitates collaborative design between remote
stations through a shared virtual environment medium.  At
each station designers work in a physical design studio, but
may access their design through a large virtual window into 
the shared virtual space.  The system empowers participants 
to communicate dexterously, aurally, and visually with one 
another and the design.
