Description:
A temporary, water soluble solder mask formulated to be cured by UV-A light within 15 to 60 seconds. Wondermask® W-UVA is 100% active, no flash off time exist, and hence extremely low volatile organic emissions. This solder mask provides complete protection for desired areas and will withstand temperatures up to 343.C/650.F. The mask is completely soluble in hot or cold water washes and is completely removed leaving no ionic or non-ionic contaminants. The UV-A mask may be applied by robotic, pneumatic, hand application, silkscreen, or template screening methods.

Features:
Mask can be applied using robotic, pneumatic, hand applications (use Dispensing Syringes part number 1901), silk-screening, or template screening. Apply a 30 to 40 mil coating for best results to desired area. The substrate should be free from grease, oil, and particulate matter. Mask is supplied at a universal viscosity; however, it may be thinned using UVA Reactive Diluent (2213-P). Place coated board under appropriate UVA or electron beam source lamp and allow to obtain full cure. Do not over cure mask. (Keep container closed and in a dark, cool environment to prevent accidental curing. Coating will cure in direct sunlight.) Note: Wondermask® W-UVA may be used in closed loop systems; however, it is necessary to monitor the total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water. To determine the maximum TDS level (approximately 10%) consult individual responsible for maintaining the ion beds. When the water reaches the determined TDS level, then replace water. All components of the 2210 are bio-degradable, thus easing disposal.
