- The four bar linkages represent a practical application well suited to the use of graded materials.
- Design unitizes two rotary joints (revolving 360°) and two rocker joints
- Rocker joints become a very applicable position to introduce compliance and damping into the design by replacing the original pin joints with flexural regions.
