Book Title: HUMAN AND MACHINE HAPTICS

Goals:

1. A definitive reference on the state of the art and science in biological and machine haptics at the close of the twentieth century.

2. A book you can give to a new Ph.D. student to read for an overview of the field and get references to the literature for a deeper study of the subtopics.

3. Not an exhaustive, indiscriminate survey.

4. Does address outstanding issues (meta-issues) that are independent of current technology.

Apr. 20	Feedback from editors to authors
May 29	From authors: Chapter drafts due at the drop site
June 30	Feedback on Chapter drafts from editors and other authors
July 31	From authors: Final drafts due at the drop site Authors go on well deserved vacations; Editors will have no such luck - their tussles with the publishers begin!
