A SHARE Subprojects
Several of the CDR projects are either directly supported
by SHARE and/or produce SHARE-related deliverables.
ME210
The most immediate deliverables from SHARE will always
be the
resources for the ME210 design
class which the students use to complete designs and build
prototypes.
The ME210 project also consists of several subprojects
- ME210 Internet Mosaic
- ME210 Conceptual Design Interface
- ME210 CDROM Case Studies
- ME210 Paper Bicycle
NEXT-LINK
Next-Link is the continuation of the earlier First-Link project,
sponsored by Lockheed. The goal is to provide "invisible" support
of the coordination in distributed design via tool-to-tool
coordination mediated by a computational agent.
DEDAL
DEDAL
is a GCDK
subproject that uses device modeling for the indexing of multimedia
design knowledge. This is an outgrowth of the
vamcs Electronic Design Notebook, an earlier
GCDK
subproject that has led to a
commercial version.
NEXT-PLAN
Where DEDAL has introduced the notion of engineering models
to document retrival,
NEXT-PLAN is using models of the engineering process
for the same purpose.
HyperMail and the www-talk archive
HyperMail
is an email to html filter that provides links between related message
and turns embedded URL's into live links. It has been applied to the
www-talk
and www-html archives.
SHARE-EIT Resources
As part of SHARE project EIT has been
involved in developing collaboration software based on Internet
Technologies. A
List of
Share Tools is available here.
