JATLite allows Agents to make a single connection to an Agent Message Router (AMR) that buffers messages and handles all IP address information. JATLite provides many useful features.

Any Agent sending KQML can use the JATLite if the agent is consistent with JATLite assumptions

JATLite uses some special KQML performatives for connection and registration of new agents. These are proposed as a KQML standard and under discussion within the KQML community.
