We also need to evaluate the adaptibility of the APIs, protocols, and functionality to other industrial applications, as well as scaling. However, this typically requires additional resources and access to industrial data.
In conjunction with the CDR Industrial Sponsor program, we offer the following sponsorship program for Next-Link.
In retrurn for a $45K annual sponsorship, one of the Next-Link staff will work with the sponsor to identify a suitable distributed engineering application and to implement a Next-Link framework for that application. After one year of sponsorship, the sponsor will have the right to use the current state of the technology and to make proprietary extensions to it under a free license with Stanford University. The sponsor is also urged to employ one of the Next-Link staff at some point to facilitate technology transfer. The sponsor is also entitled to a "company day" once a year and to have its logo displayed on the CDR home page.
Your questions and comments regarding Next-Link sponsorships are welcomed.
